The project included the implementation of three tasks aimed at popularizing science: creating a series of courses for the Copernicus College platform, producing a series of popular science materials published on the YouTube channel CopernicusCenter dedicated to new discoveries and current scientific theories, and organizing scientific sessions within the Copernicus Festival 2018.

Task 1: Krakow Methodological Conference 2019

This task involved organizing the 23rd Krakow Methodological Conference, which took place from November 7-9, 2019, under the theme “Is Logic a Physical Variable?”

Task 2: Series of Open Lectures on Copernicus College

This task resulted in the creation of 5 courses for the Copernicus College platform:

  1. “Mathematical Analysis I,” instructor: Dr. Tomasz Miller
  2. “Fundamentals of Special Relativity,” instructor: Dr. Szymon Sikora
  3. “Classical Mechanics,” instructor: Dr. Szymon Sikora
  4. “Philosophy of Mathematics,” instructors: Dr. Mateusz Hohol, Dr. Marek Jakubiec, Agnieszka Proszewska
  5. “Fundamentals of Quantum Mechanics,” instructors: Dr. Marcin Łobejko, Dr. Łukasz Lamża

Task 3: Science Live II: Great Debates

This task consisted of two modules. The first involved organizing 20 popular science lectures and publishing 20 articles. The second module focused on publishing 40 video materials.

Recordings of the organized lectures can be found here: YouTube Playlist. The lecture topics were introduced by 20 articles published on the website www.granicenauki.pl.

Additionally, six series of popular science broadcasts were created (totaling 40 episodes):

  1. Memes and Genes: YouTube Playlist
  2. From Brain to Mind: YouTube Playlist
  3. AI in Video Games: YouTube Playlist
  4. Talking to Machines: YouTube Playlist
