The project included the implementation of three tasks aimed at popularizing science: creating a series of courses for the Copernicus College platform, producing a series of popular science materials published on the YouTube channel CopernicusCenter dedicated to new discoveries and current scientific theories, and organizing scientific sessions within the Copernicus Festival 2018.

The project included the implementation of three tasks aimed at popularizing science: creating a series of courses for the Copernicus College platform, producing a series of popular science materials published on the YouTube channel CopernicusCenter dedicated to new discoveries and current scientific theories, and organizing scientific sessions within the Copernicus Festival 2018.

Task 1: Science Live

This task involved preparing a series of popular science materials: 20 live-streamed lectures (link), the first 20 episodes of the new series “Reading Nature” where Dr. Łukasz Lamża discusses new scientific publications (link), a series of 20 video reviews of scientific and popular science books (link), a series of 20 interviews with scientists (link), and 20 episodes of the series “Conversations About the Mind” (link).

Task 2: Breakthroughs in Mathematical and Physical Sciences – A Series of Online Lectures on Copernicus College

This task involved preparing a series of educational materials for the Copernicus College platform, including 5 courses and 3 guest lectures.

Task 3: Scientific Sessions of Copernicus Festival 2018 “Chance”

In 2018, the Copernicus Festival was held under the theme “Chance.” This task funded the scientific sessions of the festival. Details and the festival catalog can be found on the edition’s website: Copernicus Festival 2018.
