As part of the project "Open Science at the Copernicus Center," we prepared a set of 60 video materials, 20 podcast episodes, 20 popular science articles, and 20 infographics. Additionally, 32 popular science meetings were organized and broadcasted live.

As part of the project “Open Science at the Copernicus Center,” we prepared a set of 60 video materials, 20 podcast episodes, 20 popular science articles, and 20 infographics. Additionally, 32 popular science meetings were organized and broadcasted live.

The project’s topics covered a variety of issues in the fields of mathematical and physical sciences, life sciences, and cognitive sciences. The leading idea of the project refers to the widely-discussed concept of open science, which we interpreted broadly: as a new way of opening up complex issues of contemporary science to a wide audience; as an attempt to make the richness of scientific knowledge accessible to people skeptical of contemporary scientific claims; and as an effort to familiarize such individuals with the specifics of scientific methods, as well as an attempt to create an open space for dialogue between science and other areas of culture.
