Michał Eckstein

A physicist and mathematician, he works at the National Quantum Information Centre at the University of Gdańsk. His research interests range from abstract algebra and noncommutative geometry to quantum physics and General Relativity. He is a member of the Copernicus Center for Interdisciplinary Studies and the author of several scientific articles. He is also the co-editor of two collective works: "Mathematical Structures of the Universe" (CC Press, 2014) and "Road to Reality with Roger Penrose" (CC Press, 2015). Privately, he is the husband of biologist Ola and the father of Kinga, Paweł, and Feliks. He is an amateur high-altitude mountaineer.
