Copernicus Festival 2023: Cosmos
The word "cosmos" for the ancient Greeks meant the order or arrangement found in the world. Today, we often treat it as a synonym for "universe" – meaning everything that exists, the entire available space-time, which, according to the so-called standard model, began with the Big Bang. For centuries, humans have wondered about the extent and boundaries of the cosmos, the laws governing it, and our place within it. The tenth edition of the Copernicus Festival took place from May 23 to 28 at the Museum of Engineering and Technology in Kraków under the theme "Cosmos."

The festival was graced by the presence of prominent scientists such as Bernard Carr, Arie Kruglanski, David Grinspoon, and Katrin Amunts.
